With Something to Prove
After the 2011 NASCAR racing season came to a close there was a ton of activity that led to quite a bit of changes to drivers, crew chiefs, and more in the garage. These changes have cause some stirring and are making the 2012 season somewhat of an unknown territory. There are many drivers out there who have to step up to the plate, so to speak, and really prove themselves in the upcoming season. Since 2011 is ending, we figure we would give you a heads up of the top drivers with something to prove to the fans and NASCAR overall.
Sprint Cup Series Awards
What goes with NASCAR better than country music? Okay, maybe a beer or a plate of hot cheesy nachos might go better, but country music is pretty high up there too. Last Friday night the country singing sweetheart from Oklahoma, Reba McIntire hosted the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards Ceremony in Las Vegas at the Wynn Las Vegas Resort & Casino on the SPEED channel.
NASCAR Returns to Rockingham
The sounds of NASCAR radiating loudly from the insides of The Rock racetrack in Rockingham, North Carolina have been missed since 2004 when the 1 mile long track was closed after 40 years of hosting NASCAR events. North Carolina NASCAR fans can finally stop weeping over the quiet that is now Rockingham Speedway because the noise is coming back. That’s right, in 2012 NASCAR is coming back to Rockingham. On April 15, 2012 the Camping World Truck Series is going to race at this historic speedway.

Millions of people watch racing events around the world. While Nascar is very popular here in the USA, Formula 1 racing has taken a large audience all over the world. The races are entertaining and the driver aren’t going in a circle all day. There are twists and turns which brings in more strategy of what to do t each part of the track.
