Sometimes I like to think back on my childhood and the fond memories that I have stored up in the old noggin. There are many reasons why I had a great childhood and experience growing up, and the biggest reason definitely has to do with my parents.
You see my parents were never the type to put a damper on my dreams. If I loved something, they let me go after it or be a part of it until my hear was content. That can make for a very happy kid.
One thing that brought me a ton of joy as a child was NASCAR. I loved cars and racing. Every Sunday when the race was on, I would grab my Dale Earnhardt fan paraphernalia and pop a squat right in front of that big wooden encased TV and not get up but on commercial breaks. I was hooked.

With Something to Prove
After the 2011 NASCAR racing season came to a close there was a ton of activity that led to quite a bit of changes to drivers, crew chiefs, and more in the garage. These changes have cause some stirring and are making the 2012 season somewhat of an unknown territory. There are many drivers out there who have to step up to the plate, so to speak, and really prove themselves in the upcoming season. Since 2011 is ending, we figure we would give you a heads up of the top drivers with something to prove to the fans and NASCAR overall.
NASCAR Returns to Rockingham
The sounds of NASCAR radiating loudly from the insides of The Rock racetrack in Rockingham, North Carolina have been missed since 2004 when the 1 mile long track was closed after 40 years of hosting NASCAR events. North Carolina NASCAR fans can finally stop weeping over the quiet that is now Rockingham Speedway because the noise is coming back. That’s right, in 2012 NASCAR is coming back to Rockingham. On April 15, 2012 the Camping World Truck Series is going to race at this historic speedway.

Millions of people watch racing events around the world. While Nascar is very popular here in the USA, Formula 1 racing has taken a large audience all over the world. The races are entertaining and the driver aren’t going in a circle all day. There are twists and turns which brings in more strategy of what to do t each part of the track. The cars themselves are completely different too but why and is it really all that different? What does it take to own a F1 racing car anyway?
